The Land of Make Believe.
Dear Greenwood Lake,
You will truly hold the warmest part of my heart. The countless hours we have spent to get to you made it challenging but it made us truly appreciate you. As I will soon bid you farewell I want to Thank You. You have been nothing but gracious to us. I hope that one day I am able to find my way back to you. Until then I promise to never forget the memories you have bested onto me.
In the midst of finding purpose you have taught us the values of life and death. You never cease to remind us of the bond we have created. Many of stories will be left in the walls of our cabin. And I don’t think I could ever repay you for them. The only thing I can do is take you with me in my next adventure. To share the courage you have given me by sharing my backyard with a real life bear.
Not only were the animals welcoming, so were the people. They opened their arms, hearts and minds with us. All with one thing in common; how much they love this place. Their home. So much of reality is forgotten here, because the only thing that matters here is a good time. A time to appreciate the beauty of living.
You have offically stamped my internal passport.
